You left out the part where you walked in with the still live bee in your fingers and tried to tell your wife the whole story, but didn’t account for the fact that your wife would be completely distracted by the bee thrashing about and probably wouldn’t hear most of what you said and wouldn’t realize you had posted something and would feel kind of dumb finding out the details so many days later. Yeah, you forgot that part. I am dismayed that I was denied two whole days of picturing the heebie-jeebie dance. Next time, please keep the bee in your belly button while you are telling the story. That would work best for me.

Excellent letter. One doctor was quoted in the recent AARP Bulletin that “Obamacare would have helped my business, but it’s too expensive for the country. Providing insurance to everyone would lead to an overuse of medical facilities.” That is like saying providing education to everyone would lead to overuse of schools. What are people thinking?

Thanks for the feedback. The font is Fortunaschwein which can be downloaded here. I think it's a really cool font. Kudos to the designer. On a side note, I created the vine background graphic myself using Photoshop. I've never considered myself much of a graphics person but I like how it came out. It's probably obvious but it's a single image that when tiled repeats itself. This is the image:

WOW! Just got on for the first time since you updated your blog to something I don’t understand, and I had to check to see if I was really on Vegetables of the Mind. This is bright and cheerful! What is the font that you use for “Vegetables of the Mind.” I’m impressed!

@Mikey: I can’t speak for Mr. Jobs, but if he is a proponent of web standards over proprietary 3rd party one-offs, then yes, we are of a like mind.

Now if only we could be of like salary.
