@ken / sloopy: no, I’m not ok with any of that. For the record, I do value civil rights, and if you actually took the time to read through my historical entries you might find that to be true.

Show me a viable alternative to Obama and I’ll vote for it, but if all you have to do is complain, then STFU.

So you’re OK with expanding wars, extrajudicial killings of Americans overseas, keeping GITMO open, TARP, Fannie and Freddie bailouts, targeting loans to big donors, expanding our military footprint overseas, the largest deportation of immigrants ever and an expansion of the War on Drugs?

Good to know you don’t value civil rights.

@Jewyl: interesting, I didn’t know that. But I do know that climate change denialists argue that excess CO2 will simply be dissolved into the ocean and so we therefore have no reason to worry about its release from the burning of fossil fuels.

There’s nothing worse than someone who doesn’t understand what science is, attempting to use science to further their illogical argument.

@Wife: not recently, but this has been on my mind for some time.

I just taught my kids about ocean acidification, 25% of the CO2 released goes into the ocean causing lower ph and lots of problems… Global warming is not the only carbon disaster ahead of us

Placing children on drug treatments including Adderall fails to do anything at all for the source of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder it.solely addresses the signs and symptoms. Pills do not a single thing about what actually is defective with them. I will not imagine that medicating our son will be the very best I could do for him, If I adhere to my physicians suggestion to put our boy on pill such as Metadate, how long might it be before I know whether this was advisable or not?
